my yellow haired niece sent this to me. the photo of the hippo in a yellow and black poke-a-dot bikini ,asking if it made her butt look big. I had to laugh.
I love hippos. I have more than 30 hippos. originals paintings, statues, wood, leather, plastic, glass, rock, soft plush, and toys. I have one that dances, I have one that sings, I have a flashlight, I even have them in my bathroom (waste paper basket, water glass, tooth brush holder,)to name a few.
I have a friend that went to a wine tasting and found me a hippo wine cork.( i can not print the wine name or company but it starts with "fat b" and ends with "d company")
almost half of my hippos where gifts from people that know of my love for hippos.
I can not explain the kinship i feel with the huge beast.
